Southern California is bursting with cultural experiences and destinations, and some of them are right here in Cerritos, California. The lush green Rancho Los Cerrites stretches from the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains to the Santa Monica Knoll and is an urban oasis. The historic property is home to the Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History and California State University in Long Beach. Los Angeles and Orange County buses stop at Cerritos Mall and travel through the community, but they do not meet local needs and do not travel to all local schools, hospitals and health facilities. This is now as bad as anywhere else in Southern California; officials in Pasadena and Long Beach, both of which have their own health departments, have issued instructions to behave themselves.
